Decorating Easter eggs was an event this year. We were in the apartment, which meant that our kitchen table is in the tiny dining area that is CARPETED!! This meant that normally disastrously messy Nicholas had to be carefully monitored so as not to dye the carpet underneath. And the mission was successful.
While Katie worked diligently and carefully, choosing colors and decorating, Nicholas went full speed ahead, dyed all his eggs and then redyed them all several times more. I think each egg got dipped no less than 3 times. But the results were still beautiful.
